These Airship Pants are a coveted possession of my Aunt Matilda because they were given to her by Count Ferdinand himself! They met in 1910 when she made a pilgrimage to Germany to meet the man that created the "airship-train" as it was referred to in his patent for the machine. The Count was so impressed with self-studied and excellently executed German that he gifted her a pair trousers that had been named after his machine!
