MATANZAS MARSH KRAKEN
Coastal Cryptid — Matanzas Inlet
A shadowy presence beneath the brackish waters, the Marsh Kraken is said to dwell in the tidal creeks and marshlands near Matanzas.
Fishermen tell of unseen movements below their boats—tentacles slipping silently through the dark, murky depths.
Rarely surfacing, it is believed to rise only during heavy storms or unusually high tides, dragging prey beneath the water without a trace.
Likes: deep channels, stormy tides
Diet: fish, crabs & the occasional unlucky catch
